The Alliance for Recovery is a non-profit organization (501c) founded in 1997 and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to help reduce the stigma associated with addiction and advocate for the rights and welfare of alcoholics and other drug addicted individuals and their families. The Alliance for Recovery provides:
- citizen education, involvement and leadership
- communications with the media and public officials
- research for addiction treatment and prevention
- connecting within the recovery community
- the latest updates on addiction, treatment and recovery
- the national radio show Recovery – Coast to Coast
In 2005, The Alliance for Recovery launched the only nightly national radio talk show in America, RECOVERY – Coast to Coast which airs nightly from 10PM – Midnight PST on ClearChannel 850 AM, KHHO is Seattle-Tacoma, Washington.
